Hardleigh-A-Station Layout for Sale. DCC or 12v DC
This Layout is designed to run on 12v DC or DCC the wiring was done professionally. The points are operated electronically by the Peco Smart Switch system. 7mm Narrow Gauge & 7mm Standard Gauge.
The Layout combines 7mm Standard O Gauge track & NG7 (O-16.5) track by Peco. It is designed as a Terminus Station for transfer of passengers and goods between the Narrow Gauge and the Standard gauge systems, similar in operation to the Original Barnstaple Town railway in North Devon. It could easily be extended to a through station for both scales.
Pictures above as a work in progress, since this picture a Double gauge sector plate has been added, see picture below. Four trains can be stored and rearranged as required.
The layout has been shown once at Exeter MR Show, the pictures here include some temporary buildings and rolling stock used for the show, only one of these buildings is included in the Sale Price of £360 ono.
The layout packs away, as shown on the following picture. Less than half an hour to set up and be running. As shown, it fits neatly into my Ford Kuga boot area. Alternatively, it can be Folded over where the top two surfaces face each other, with the Sector plates resting on top. This takes up less height than the picture below. Three ply baseboards 3ft (92cm) x 18” (46cm) assembled 9ft x 18”
The Layout can be delivered free within a 25-mile radius of Exeter. A great opportunity for someone to enhance this layout with Buildings and Scenery for those who do not want to start from scratch.
